Hospice of York includes bereavement support services which are part of our mission and promise to BE THERE for others. Our group facilitators are specially trained to deal with the process of grief. There is never a charge for our services.

Hospice of York's "Living With Loss" support group offers. . .
  • Trained bereavement facilitators to guide group members.
  • Three 10 week sessions per year.
  • Very special holiday sessions - help for moving through what may be the most stressful of times.
  • Lending library of books and videos.
  • A one-year subscription to a bereavement newsletter.
  • A source for resources and referrals.

Starting in the fall of 2011, Hospice of York will be offering a program for kids ages 3-18 who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

This will be a FREE program and will be open to anyone living in Southern Maine and the surrounding areas.
